French Vanilla Protein French Toast

GFO - DFO - VO

INGREDIENTS

2 Slices of GF or normal bread
2 Eggs
1 TBSP Nothing Naughty Vanilla Pea, Lean Bean, or Whey Protein
1 tsp Nothing Naughty Natural or Maple Fibre Syrup or/ Keto Sweetener
⅛ tsp Ground Nutmeg
⅛ tsp Salt
⅛ tsp Vanilla Extract/Essence
¼ C Milk of choice (we love coconut!)
1 TBSP Butter of choice

Optional Toppings

Sliced fresh or fried banana, berries, yoghurt and a drizzle of Fibre Syrup!

 

METHOD

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a large bowl excluding the bread and butter.
    2. Melt butter in a large frypan until sizzling. Dip both sides of bread into the mixture and fry on both sides until golden-brown.
    3. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
