An update on one of our ingredients
Nothing Naughty has identified a labelling issue impacting some batches of our products. These products remain safe to consume.
A sweetener supplied to us and certified as thaumatin, a natural sweetener, was instead sucralose. Sucralose is widely used and permitted in New Zealand and Australia.
As a result, labels on the affected products (predominantly our flavoured powder products) incorrectly identify the sweetener as thaumatin.
We have stopped using this ingredient, are switching to an alternative natural sweetener blend, and are working with the regulator throughout.
We know our customers trust us to be clear about what goes into our products, and we take that responsibility seriously. We wanted to share this update so you have the correct information.
